Bailey Feed Mill was founded in 1952 in Bailey, NC by Thomas Daniel as a custom feed mill and grain elevator. Daniel’s son, Al, built Bailey Feed Mill as a reputable grain business during the 1970’s and 80’s, establishing solid relationships throughout the southeastern United States, and laying the foundation for future business endeavors. In 1991, the business expanded to Selma, NC, when Daniel bought the facility at 404 East Preston Street, as a grain elevator but saw additional opportunities with its ideal location and dual railroad resources. Over the past 30 years, the Selma facility has expanded into a major transloading facility, currently handling more than 20 different products. The Bailey Feed Mill group of companies remain Daniel family owned and operated today. |
